Scholarship (noun) schol-ar-ship. 1). A gift [of money] to support a worthy cause. 2). Financial aid provided on the basis of merit.

A school represents a community’s investment in its future through the safe education of its youth. Education is the business of teaching students. It costs money. Nothing is for free. Scholarships can bridge the gap between desired outcomes and limited funding.

The Ovation Company (TOC) understands the value of time, energy and money. We understand the ongoing struggle to balance budget and student needs. We also understand that providing a safe and productive environment is the cornerstone of a quality education, allowing students to perform better both academically and socially.

Schools must go to great lengths to ensure that every decision they make is good for both the school and its community. “Knowledge and information” prove to be valuable assets. A school will spend countless hours researching core curriculum, evaluating the impact of test scores and revisiting teaching methods to ensure maximum output. Educators spend a great deal of energy gathering information to make certain that all decisions are the right ones.

The decision to retain the services of an outside consultant, such as The Ovation Company, should also be held to the same standards. Due diligence, research and feedback are the tools of informed decisions. We believe that if you witness one of our programs, you will see the value in what we have to offer.

We would like to provide a scholarship to schools willing to host one of our programs, inviting neighboring schools to participate in the days events. The host school will receive a quality experience for its students while simultaneously educating decision makers in their community. We want people to see first hand the value that our programs provide and the high quality at which we operate. We call this a scholarship.

Our scholarships are provided to schools or organizations that demonstrate a passion for teaching, a commitment to student learning, dedication to improving school climate and a willingness to share ideas with their community.

How do you earn a scholarship? Follow these simple guidelines:

1. Contact The Ovation Company with your interest in hosting a scholarship day.

2. Discuss what program meets your schools needs and agree on a date.

3. Book the event; host administrators, staff and students from at least 10 neighboring schools.

4. The Ovation Company waives the speakers fee*

It is straight forward. There is no hidden agenda, no tactical follow up, no annoying phone calls. We are not salesmen, we are educators. We at The Ovation Company are confident enough in our programs (and our track record) that the scholarship day will not be the last time we hear from you. In recent months, dozens of schools and organizations have hired The Ovation Company after participating in one of our programs first hand, proving that nothing can replace knowledge and information.

Scholarships are limited, so if you are interested in hosting a program through scholarship, please call right away. Traditionally, schools will schedule events months in advance and it is not unusual for our presenters to be booked one year out.

Thank you, for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
The Ovation Company
